Registration for the 2024 edition of the Cadence Music Festival started
It is with great joy that I am announcing that the Cadence Music Festival is coming back for its 4th edition. This musical event is dedicated to young musicians and will take place on April 12th, 13th and 14th 2024 at the Piano Vertu music hall, located at 5193 Décarie Blvd. Decarie, Montreal, Quebec, H3W 3C2.
This Festival offers the opportunity to all music players to develop their potential. Playing on stage builds a child’s personality and self-confidence. Comments from judges, respected teachers and musicians, are very important for students’ progress.
Festival Information
The Festival offers four options:
Music For Me ‘Piccolo’ (non-competitive) age 4 & 5 years old*
Music For Me (non-competitive) age 6 to 25 years old*
Enchanting Music (competitive) age 6 to 25 years old*
Piano Concerto (competitive) age 6 to 25 years old*
*Age as of January 1st, 2024
The instruments admitted to the Festival are piano, violin, viola, and cello. Participants will be grouped according to their age as of January 1st, 2024.
- The GRAND PRIX will be awarded to the participant who obtains the highest mark
- 96% + Prizes with a monetary award
- 90% + Gold Mention
- 86% à 89% Silver Mention
- 82% à 85% Bronze Mention
- March 18, 2024 – Last day to register. All participants must have completed the registration form and made the payment to be registered to the festival
- April 12, 13, 14 – Dates of the festival. The date and time of presentation will be communicated with the participants in late March.
- Spring 2024 – A Gala concert featuring the Grand Prix recipients
